The components in this PlugIn require a level of expertise that cannot be attained by simply reading this document. It is assumed that you either know how to edit and post web pages, or that you can hire someone who can do this for you. Remote Backup Systems, Inc. cannot help you edit or post these resources to your web site.
The Online Installer PlugIn consists of several file groups that provide various web-based resources for your Client software. These file groups are installed on your RBS Server computer and require further configuration and setup before they can be used.
The Online Installer PlugIn lets your clients install your RBS Client Software from your web site or your RBS Server Computer. You can also optionally allow your clients to update their software from the same locations, giving you more control over your updates.
This PlugIn includes:
· The Client Online Installer
· The Client Online Updater
· The Apache Web Server (preconfigured for RBS)
· A Default Web Site you can customize for your own use
· The Web-Enabled version of the RBS Sales Presentation
All of these features have been installed on your RBS Server Computer in the following folders:
